| Verizon made my daughter cry |
and now I'm crying too.
Bigger, Better, Faster. Bah Humbug.
Lost webmail last week. Spent numerous calls, numerous settings, numerous lengthy hold times, no answer. No warning previous that they were going to be performing service. I cancelled my 5 year old account with them.
Then I called Comcast and decided they don't treat their customers any better.
Next, webmail came back up so I cancelled my cancellation. Verizon666 conned me into a bigger better faster contract and a new modem was sent. Before it arrived, my phone and internet went down. After two days, hours upon hours of technical calls until after midnight, I slept fitfully and went to work the next morning.
I arrived home to find a two-way recorded conversation on my answering machine from someone calling someone in my neighborhood. Oh, my phone was working but what-the-heck? Well, I had dial tone and still no Internet. So I called Verizon {again}, got connected by breaking a redirect link to Frontier. Wahlah! The Internet! We hung up and and I went to open my email. Guess what? It's broken.
