" Wacky VZ employee elimination plan "

1st ask for volunteers with a nice payout.

2nd force people out by poor performance or (families with high health insurance costs)

3rd work the heck out of the people that are left after steps 1 and 2 are gone, by using software and procedures incapable of working,

4th Fire remaining people and hire monkeys overseas to do the job

just my thoughts
on why their service stinks.
