| International calls $3.00/min!! |
I have a bill of almost $400 this month for International calls. I NEVER signed up with Verizon for long distance or International calls. My last bill (paid 2 weeks ago was to TTI National), involved no "plan" fee, just a straight-forward honest charge per minute. Verizon took over TTI and all this month when I thought I was paying 0.08 cents per minute to TTI I was actually being charged $3.00 a minute by Verizon. Then I get a "Welcome to Verizon" letter!! How can they justify these prices!! I NEVER would have chosen Verizon as my carrier, they just became it by buying out TTI. I hate Verizon right now. I made so many International calls this last month because my Dad (who lived overseas)died recently and my 90 year old mother, newly in a nursing home needs me to talk with her. Verizon doesn't care - won't adjust the charges one cent. I feel like giving up my Verizon land line (local calls) and getting internet elsewhere - I actually rather pay more and take my business elsewhere. Ruth - Verizon H8er ID: FEC8AD |

| 07/21/10 | 16:05PM | Try asking them to let you on thier international plan and than charge you what they would have on that plan which is some where around 10 cents a minute depending on the country.
I have a special plan with another place that i make all my calls to England on. Somehow, Verizon charged me for one of the calls at something like $4 a minute. I could not believe it when i saw my bill. However, they did agree to charge me what the call would have been if i had my plan with them.
If they will not agreed to charge the price it would be on their plan, write to the Attorney General in your state. I think they have to ether honor the plan you had when they took over or have sent you a letter telling you they would not.Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: F47F06 |
