| $150 Tech Support!!! |
Got FIOS a couple of months ago, finally configured Thunderbird as my email client a couple of weeks ago (it had been configured for Comcast). Last few days, I've been able to receive, but not send emails. Mozilla says they don't know how to help. Went to Verizon's help site, only to find out that, if you're using a MS product (e.g., Outlook), then Verizon will provide tech support. But if you use any NON-MS app or utility and want tech support for that, you have to sign a 10-month minimum contract for Premium tech support at $15/mo -- $150!!! No one told me this when I signed up!!Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: 68817A |

ISPs come and go and that means your email address does too.
Get a domain name (10$/yr) and have gmail host it (free). Done. Your email address never changes again and google has direct and community support.
