I had a Motorola Q9M for about a year before the data plan requirement went up, and then it started messing so I went to the store and they said that because they were out stock, and this phone was not in production anymore I would have to get a similar phone. So my only options were the env3 so a ten year old phone whose only function was a color screen. So I went with the env3 and about a few weeks later I buy another Q9M and try to activate, and I was fine with the $30 a month data plan, but now they want to charge me a $45 a month data plan because this is a business/corporate phone so it needs special plan. Which this phone is 3 years old. It has no special features but the internet explorer yet other more recent phones have 10x the features and only have to pay the $30. I have a $200 monthly bill so it shows that I am a loyal customer they could at least activate the phone w/o the data plan but they wont.xpack - Verizon H8er ID: 494366 |

| 09/24/10 | 8:54AM | | Complain to Motorola. They are the ones that made the phone. I don't think that all of the versions of the Q require the $45 plan, but obviously yours does. If you don't want the internet, then why would you want a Q anyway. Oh, I know what the issue is. You want to appear to others as having a smartphone, but you don't want to pay for the features.
