| Sent to collections for the neighbors bill |
I own a small business in a plaza/center. I am in the process of selling the business and getting out of town. However, the future owner can't put the Verizon account in his name because my neighbor's business moved out in 2007 without paying her bill. Verizon attached the bill to me from her 2007 bill. I have always paid my bills on time and have a zero balance. I have no affiliation with the other business. Mistakes happen, but come on, no one calls me back. They just put me on hold then hang up on me. My balance is zero, but I am in collections. When I call collections they say I don't owe anything, it's my deadbeat ex-neighbor not me!
