This stinks....who is kidding who...they are pushing FIOS so they disrupt all the home phones in the area...baloney that a box is out...I want some response from this incompetent company. | 01/03/11 | 13:46PM | I find ironic too at the sametime they are pushing FIOS the old network seems to act up. I don't think it's sabotage. We've had more trouble in the last 18 months than in the last 18 years. It is definately years of neglect and low/misplaced priority.
I heard by the the mid 1990s Verizon was 10 years behind simply replacing it's copper wire plant. I think the upper level executives were just trying to delay/save any major capital expenditure for a fiber network. I know there repair response times have increased as well.
