I'm sure my story is not a new one...All i'm trying to do is to UPGRADE my Fios TV package...to me, it's a simple one click operation...I'm now on my THIRD phone call...sitting through HIGH-CALL VOLUME.
I did a NEW CONTRACT to get back the channels that I lost...never cancelled. I call back today and there is NO RECORD OF MY PREVIOUS CALLS OR UPGRADES.
I'm not being transferred to another department because the first DRONE ON THE PHONE of course can't help me.
OH MY GOSH....THE NEW DRONE CANT PULL UP MY ACCOUNT WITH OUT THE ACTUAL ACCOUNT NUMBER...They have my name, address, mother's maiden name, home phone and cell phone.

| 01/24/11 | 10:59AM | I hear more stories about trouble with the TV end of fios it's ridiculous. The time lag for repair is ridiculous as the amount of trouble as well. 3 day wait to watch TV channels you are paying for?

(2) ALWAYS communicate with verizon with a typed, paper letter. Should they call back to discuss inform them you will only communicate by written letter and hang up.
Otherwise you'll get the by the book line "Agent YZ was not authorized to _____" and insert whatever deal/arranged made.
When you finally are tired of being burned take you stack of PAPER communication to small claims court. you can record all coversations
when THEIR announcement "recorded... quality control"
