| Cheap Chargers |
Verizon likes to knock on the gas station chargers you buy at a quarter of the price of their branded chargers. I just purchased a $30 wall charger from a verizon store (not a 3rd party vendor - this is a corp. run verizon store). Although the sales rep helped me pick it out, it didn't fit my phone. I realized this when I got to the car and quickly went back in. The correct charger cost me an additional $8. Now that I'm back at work, the charger won't work. I have to hold it at an angle to make it work (the part that plugs into the wall, not the phone adapter). I'm going back after work to throw this pos at them, then buy a $10 charger from the gas station up the street!Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: F44571 |

First, at least half of the Verizon employees have very superficial knowledge through no fault of their own. Their monopoly roots prohibit them from acknowledging competition and increasing their own knowledge or learning something new. Second the company 'tells them everything they need to know'-so management can steer the employee and the employee is forced to steer the customer to their advantage ie buy something over priced and un-necessary.
As long as the same ratings are on the charge which is basically a transformer it should work. And even on after market make sure they have an FCC rating.Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: 57AFAF |
