Returned phone, now charged for it and have to wait until April for a refund

Returned 2 phones that were broken, both received per FedEx the same day at Verizon in January. Called when I found out I was being charged, they said they'd check into it. Got the bill, charged for one phone, over $300. Called again, "Josh" said the charge would be removed in 2 days. It wasn't called back, new guy says it will be up to 2 months. So they get to use my $300 for two months and their response was "oh well". Nice. And of course my contract isn't up yet...
