I had 7 lines of service with them.... short of a small business account. I had no service at my home. I was given the go ahead to cancel service without incurring any early termination fees. WELL... I received the bill a few weeks later for over $1,000 because of EARLY TERMINATION FEES. I immediately call their customer service number and what do you know???? There is nothing in the notes that state I can cancel my service without paying the fees. I ABSOLUTELY THIS COMPANY. THEY TRY TO MONOPOLIZE THE MARKET. I HAD ALLTEL BEFORE I HAD THEM AND NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE WHATSOEVER. THEIR REPS NEVER HAVE A CLUE WHAT'S GOING ON. YOU GET A DIFFERENT STORY EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU CALL IN. | 04/07/11 | 11:36AM | I'd ask for proof that you agreed to termination fees. There should be standard practice in writing for this even if not agreed to as an individual issue.
File complaints with the local utility regulators, FCC and BBB since this is about fees on optional/extra service. This is as much about a business practice as it is phone service.
