| stole my money |
Verizon began charging me for internet service on a dedicated fax line while I was paying for internet service on their "Quad Play" plan. I had the fax account being paid automatically by my visa card and didn't notice that they were charging me an extra $21.99 per month, plus any additional fees or taxes. I discovered this rip off when I decided to use an internet fax service. Verizon, while admitting that I was being charged for internet on two different accounts, only refunded three months of this fee. This was going on for approximately two years, so the loss was close to $500. With system errors you have to actually pick up the phone and notify someone so they can send a ticket in for it to be fixed. It doesn't just magically fix on its own.
