| Verizon Cut Service One Day Early |
Last summer, my husband and I were moving out of the country. Verizon cut off our phone/internet service one day early. We couldn't make or receive calls or email during our critical last 24 hours in the country.
In addition, our building's intercom system was wired through our landline and so no visitors could let us know they'd arrived. Our handyman literally boiled over in the heat as he fruitlessly redialed our intercom number time and time again, and had a fight with another resident (for which I was fined $500). The people driving us to the airport couldn't let us know they'd arrived. | 05/08/11 | 20:12PM | | If by "literally boiled over" you mean his body temperate reached and exceeded 212° F I am very sorry to hear of his death due to heat exhaustion and the subsequent seething bubbling stain his exploding internal organs left on your doorstep.
