Hi Bob, Evie and Beth,
Yesterday the girls asked me to let them know how we like Verizon Fios. Well!
Steve and I ordered Verizon Fios for the TV on February 21. It took Steve about an hour just to explain to them what we wanted and to schedule a day for the installation, which was supposed to be March 13.
A few days later, we started getting electronic messages from Verizon saying that they could not install it on March 13. We called back twice, spent about an hour on the phone each time, and the people talking to us had no idea what the messages where about.
We got a letter saying that they needed a third party confirmation. We called, spent a long time on the phone again, and finally, somebody asked us a few questions and said that was the confirmation.
Just to be on the safe side, Steve passed by the Verizon store at Westminster Mall, they checked all the details, and said everything was ok.
We got more messages saying they were unable to instal Fios on the 13, but out of time and pacience, we decided to wait and see.
Yesterday, we waited and waited... By the end of the day, Steve called again, spent an hour on the phone, and finally they figured out that they had not "confirmed" the third party confirmation.
We cancelled the order.
So if you are thinking about installing Verizon Fios, I hope you are on a chatty mood.

I had issues with installation like that as well until I decided it was time to change providers before I even started with them. So, I jumped online and found this site http://www.BestTVForMe.com to find that DISH Network was the perfect fit for me. Not only do they offer all 100% digital picture and sound, but they offer a lot more HD channels and really good HD equipment. Check it out!
