| Hostage holding |
After signing up for a bundle which included web hosting, and making the mistake of registering my domain name thru Verizon, they were unable to provide me with even 1.0 speed reliably due to the incredibly ancient wires on the poles. I canceled everything after enduring 1 1/2 hours average per day for ten days trying to resolve the problem and have switched to Time Warner. Unfortunately Verizon is holding my domain name routing hostage. After three hours, 17 people, 3 e-mails, they finally sent me the release code. It was incorrect.
