| Verizon hates the troops |
We are an active duty military family. My husband and I went into Verizon wanting to buy iPhones, so that when he deployed he could call home from over seas. When we went in the representitive told us the new HTC Thundebolt was better and did al the same stuff. He insisted on getting this phone, going on to tell us how he was in the Reserves and he knows what it is like for us. So we paid over $1000 for our new phones, the HTC Thunderbolt. Well my husband deploys tonight and we went this afternoon to get our global service turned on, and they told us our phones were NOT golbal capable! Now my husband is deploying with no phone and they say there is nothing they can do! They told us to buy an Iraq sim card and Iraq cell servic touse our phones!!!
