Whatever you do, DON'T EVER UPDATE YOUR PLAN/CONTRACT! We used to have Alltel and after they were bought by Verizon we were told that they had updated the towers and that we needed to update our plan to get the best service.... WRONG! They just wanted us to update our plan so they could start charging us for all our web and texts seperately. Our first new bill was almost double the old one. After I told them they could shove it up their a$$ they told me that I now would have to pay 300 dollars per line to cancel my service.
