| Call your state representative |
Verizon spends millions of dollars on lobbying state legislatures so that they can do things like not sell you equipment but make you rent it and you can only use their boxes unless you pay for a $3.99 cable card.
I strongly suggest that you let your state representative know that you will not vote for them if they take money from Verizon.
What Verizon is allowed to do by law is unethical and unconscionable, yet it is legal because they contribute so much money to legislators that allow these actions to persist.
