| 13 days with Verizon |
I made the mistake of trying out a Palm Treo 700P with Verizon. They said I could try it and return it within 14 days and only pay the airtime charges. Fine. So I did it, then returned it in 13 days. It worked well. Then the bills started coming. I am now on my 3rd bill for $539.07. Despite 6 calls to Verizon (ever try this? be prepared to push 44 buttons and wait 10 minutes), and the assurance that it would be taken care of it has not. I called the store where I got it 8 times. Nothing happens. Billing is "separate". Now it is on my credit report as a "slow pay". Nice. Welcome to hell. - Verizon H8er ID: 66539A |
