| I was totally wronged by verizon |
I called verizon to see when I could cancel my 2 phones. Was told by "gino" that I could cancel anytime - the contract was up. I verified I would not be charged a cancelation fee. Gino confirmed, "no charges." I got my bill the next month and there's a $152 "cancelation fee" - I called multiple times to get it cleared. Finally some "supervisor" tells me that gino put a note in my account that he misinformed me and tried to call me but I didn't answer. Guess why? cause I'd cancelled the phone and I wasn't using it - why would I check message from a phone that was no longer in service?
My husband, who didn't really want me to cancel verizon, decided to help get it straightened out. He is now a card-carrying member of the I HATE VERIZON club. They sent me to collections. Tried to explain to those folks the situation. Right...they didn't care either.
Last week my husband walked into verison and paid the $152 so we never have to deal with them again. Oh...but they want to make sure we now pay the collection agency a fee too. EEEK! I can say, verizon is the lowest of any company i have every dealt with - I will tell all my story. They are evil.Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: 22F1AB |

I also blame credit reporting agencies for putting up with this filth and being co-conspirators in this scam. They should see through this scam with all the disputes. You might want to make a notation, which you're entitled to btw, in your credit file that you disputed the charges with these idiots.
