International rip-off

I called Verizon to purchase a short term international package to cover a trip, and explained what I needed from them and that I wanted the data package for emails and for tethering my notebook to the cell phone. I get home to a $800+ bill. Verizon claims that I only ordered the email data package and not the tethering package. They 'do me a favor' and take $200 off their bill. What a joke this company is. I hope they are happy - I cancelled my home and business accounts and now will be using another provider.
