Why am I being overcharged?!?!?

I'll keep it short! I am being charged $10 more a month for Verizon FiOs TV Extreme HD. When I called I spoke to a woman who claimed it was taxes that were raised but then stated I was paying roughly the same in taxes each month. I tried to speak to her but she kept speaking over me. I did not get loud or curse or be offensive in any manner but when I was done speaking... she wasn't on the line! She hung up on me!!!!! I called back and I am still on hold 55 minutes later!!!!
