| How do you take Verizon to Small Claims Court? |
I need to take Verizon to Small Claims Court...but how do you do it? I will not make one more phone call to them...I will send no more faxes to them with the information they request...only to have that person be out of the office. I'm done! You can sue them..but who do you serve the papers to? There is no Verizon office that I know of...just wireless and they won't deal with problems that are not wireless related. | 02/03/12 | 11:20AM | The local BBB might be able to assist you and even document your problem. The state utility regulators and FCC should be your best bet especially if there are any physical technical issues. Small claims court would have to be for some sort of damages or breach of contract.
Verizon and other crybaby bells get away with alot more than they should because they sell alot of they deem to optional and/or unnecessary services yet they sell/deliver them over a regulated network. So alot of stuff they do literally falls in between a regulated public utility service and voluntary optional purchase of unregulated or mandated services. Did you find the address to serve papers to? I am in Los Angeles and am having too much trouble finding their address. I looked at the Secretary of the State's website at: sos.ca.gov/business, but 41 entries came up for Verizon. I talked to them on the phone and they don't know which one is Verizon either. Please Help!!!
