Verizon Patents

Verizon just sued Vonage for infringing on their
obvious and stupid patents. So now every dollar
that you pay to Vonage, Verizon will get 4 cents.
Bastards.

They said in their own defense:

"Patents encourage and protect innovations that benefit consumers, create jobs, and keep the economy growing. Verizon's innovations are central to its strategy of building the best communications networks in the world,"

Assholes. Their patents are on obvious things that require no innovation at all, they just want to squelch their cheaper competition.
