Waited hours for nothing

Verizon promised to send a technician between 8 and 12. I called twice after 12, only to be told that the technician hadn't even started his rounds for the day, and was in a training class! Naturally, no one at Verizon bothered to notify me, even though they asked for three contact numbers when I set up the appointment. This is at least the second horrible experience I've had with this company. Avoid them if you can!
