| Verizon is Evil |
My wife and I had no phone/DSL service for 4 months, but still had to pay Verizon for these months of NO SERVICE.
I just spent the past hour being phone shuffled around and around!
They claimed that they weren't able to look at repair notes for an account that was no longer open.
I had to pay them to avoid having our bill sent to a collection agency.
On a side note, I live in Brooklyn, New York, where my view of the Manhattan skyline has been wrecked by a huge Verizon sign on what I assume is their building. It's the only form of advertising on the skyline and it diminishes its beauty. I can't believe that the city allowed it.

In an attempt to control my road rage by means of distraction, I turned to Fox News Radio, at which time I was reminded of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rigging of the Iranian election.
As supreme leader of this site, I have decided that this desecration of the NYC skyline is the greatest atrocity
committed by Verizon of all post on this site, and wins by a landslide.

I like to give notice that I too am recording the call during their announcement of call recording.
With a follow up letter for every converstation and a recording of every conversation I have it locked down tight. Now I even record conversations with field managers or agents without their consent to cover all my bases.
With ViaTalk prefixing the verizon contact number with *99 automatically records the call
so for fios "service"

If you don't subscribve to viatalk, a voip (internet phone) service, you can record calls free with a headset, a SIP client (software) capable of recording, and place your call through a free toll free SIP gateway
Small claims court grants some leeway with recorded conversations and does not look kindly on liars.
