| Why can't they just suck less? |
I have never liked verizon wireless but I'm on a family plan with my mother and sister so I don't have many options.
My most recent complaint is this:
My birthday just passed and my mom had been hinting that she would get me the new LG enV2.
I wasn't certain though so I went into my local verizon store to speak with an associate.
After waiting a very long time, I finally cornered someone to ask them two simple questions.
1. Was the current price going to stay the same so if my mother didn't buy it for me I could return and get it for $79.99 with a two year contract.
She told me that it should stay that price for a long time.
2. Could I purchase insurance for it after the fact.
She told me yes.
The day after my birthday, when my mother didn't get the phone for me, I went online to purchase the phone myself on verizon.com. The checkout process was complicated due to the fact that I'm on a family plan so I went into verizon and low and behold the price has jumped to $129.99 w/ 2 yr.
Now, the online price has jumped also.
I hate verizon with a passion! Why can't they just be helpful and honest and stop trying to rip-off their faithful customers?
And too boot. It used to be that Verizon would give a $100 credit towards a new phone if the customer would sign a two year contract. They cut the credit in half, now customers only get a $50 credit. And their phones are over-priced to begin with.
Save yourselves some hassel people. Just go with T-Mobile. At least they pretend to care about their customers. - Verizon H8er ID: 61AE6F |
