| i have seen union members in providence,smithfield,lincoln and warwick go to managers and complain that so and so didnt do a good job on a certain house or tell the manager that so and so took too long on a job or once i seen and heard a union member tell a manager that the person who used his truck left it in a mess and it smelled like cigarettes. this should have been dealt with within the union...right geeorge? - Verizon H8er ID: 476A00 |

Sounds like the union is as bad or worse than Verizon. The truck belongs to Verizon not the union. The employees that did a poor job did not work for the union, they work for Verizon. The union should make sure that Verizon takes care of this, but ultimately this is Verizon's responsibility.
I have been on too many jobs where union employees have made me spend two to three extra days on a job site because they couldn't work 10 minutes more or the have someone come in on a weekend. Verizon is bad, but the thugs and lazy people in the union have done much more dammage. (Read Government Motors)
