| Verizon has lost thousands of lines because they have technicians who don't give a shit about the customer. I have seen it first hand. They are paid over $30.00 per hour and they work harder at finding ways NOT to work. They are lazy and dump jobs because they won't even take the ladder off the truck in some cases, so they tell the customer they need to have a cable technician track down the trouble. Then they falsify their timesheet to report that they took more time working on the job than they really did just just so they can sleep in the truck, have another coffee and read the newspaper etc. I know because I was a technician but left the company because I was being harrassed by other tecniciand because I wanted to do my best for the customer. Many times I was told by the union to slow down because you are making others look bad. THEN the union covers for the lazy, useless worker. So it's not just the incompetence of the managers, the union is equally to blame. Remember years ago in the auto industry? People would say never buy a vehicle that was made on either a Monday or Friday. Well the managers were not building them the union workers were. - Verizon H8er ID: 6FCCB9 |

| just stood in line @ the Credit Union listening to a tech talk about how he does "nothing more than the minimum" how he's not doing anything more and how much VZ sucks!! In this economy...this A-HOLE is bragging about being a slacker. Someone close to me was terminated from VZ for a bunch of BS. This guy gave his heart and soul to the company and they used him and spit him out. Yet guys like this jerk can get a job in the union and suck the day dry doing nothing! I can't wait to see this company fail. Many of the greedy union members like this (thought they ALL aren't) will be to blame. I heard stories that you wouldn't believe of techs doing drug deals during work hours, getting caught and then getting their job back. Countless stories like these that many people would not believe. Yet, they are the ones who don't give it their all and expect everything in return. If only my kids weren't with me......hmmm. It was so interesting trying to explain this to my son on the way out.
