| Verizon keeps finding new ways to screw me. |
I have had nothing but bad experiences with Verizon.
1st. Last year my phone went out and it took over a week and many calls to get it fixed. They wouldn't acknowledge a problem or send anyone out. Turns out an incompetent tech. had crossed my line with another so with they checked the line it rang at the wrong number.
2nd. They hounded me incessantly to sign up for DSL because I use over 6,000 min a month free calling a local dial up number. When I complained and told them to stop calling me with offers my phone conductivity mysteriously went down, slowing my internet connection speed.
3rd. Now they are putting charges for directory assistance calls I never made on my bill and refuse to take them off.
I know it sounds paranoid but I really think Verizon is out to get me for all the free minutes I use each month. Is anyone else having a similar experience with Verizon? - Verizon H8er ID: EC8289 |

After 4 hours of hassle, transfers, and trying I was able to get the extra charges taken off of my bill. I was warned by a very apologetic representative that I needed to have a history of problems or they won't be able to remove charges in the future.
I am now doing my part and going through the grueling process of filing grievances with Better Business, Illinois Attorney General, and Federal Communications Commission. To make officials and lawmakers aware of the situation with Verizon. - Verizon H8er ID: 01697E |
