How should I of known they called?

My problem with verizon is simple: In my area there is little to no service. I miss many calls and only know if people call when they leave a message, many of my friends or people calling dont... and that doesnt mean the call wasnt important. As well, right now im looking for a job so when a prospective job cant reach me on my cell they dont care, but i just missed out on another opportunity!!! Argh!! I hate verizon!!
