I wanted to quit Sprint for ripping me off. Every time I started my Sprint phone mp3 player I was charged data services fees (x2 a day). It took six months of on hold time to finally block all data service to prevent the charges.
I decided to switch to the Verizon crooks when my daughters were old enough for phones. I explained the situation to the Verizon clerk (Nicolette phone number 253-509-2880) at the kiosk in the Puyallup WA COSTO, store #660, and she said that Verizon had a similar plan and that I would not be charged data or text fees. My daughters were present and Nicolette told them they had free texting.
Needless to say I had $207.00 of text messages on my first bill. No joy complaining to Verizon, their customer service told me to take it up with Costco. Costco tried to intervene to avoid an Attorney General complaint. Still no joy.
Needless to say I trashed the Verizon phones and went back to Sprint.
It is time for a class action lawsuit!

Maybe you should read your contract and look at the plan you are on.
