| this company will fail because the union says to work as least as possible while the management wants the employee to run around all day. lol verizons days are numbered. i also have heard that verizon is in trouble and will eventually sell off all its landlines and equiptment and be a fios and wireless company. funny thing is, verizon will not provide fios to everyone because ivan says it is not cost effective. he makes in excess of 20 million a year plus perks and he says fios to certain areas is not cost effective. verizon will fall just like enron,the banks,car companies and other industries. - Verizon H8er ID: 6EB2AF |

| Verizon's quest to measure productivity is what will kill them in the end. The energies of the management is spent chasing elusive arbitrary metrics, and you are the right.. the customer be damned. | I currently work for Verizon and yes, some of their practices are a little extreme, but you do not go into the service not knowing what to expect. I work in the DSL portion of the customer and all day I get people saying, "I did not order the service" or "I did not know I was in contract so the ETF is invalid", when the truth is, when I look up the equipment, UPS signature is the customers so they know they have the service, usage on the account shows you used it, and the multiple contracts that was sent out in one form or another told you there was a contract and the ETF amount if cancelled. I am not here to say I am in love with Verizon, but some of these policies that we are "breaking" was policies you were well aware of and to now act like you have no idea what the policies are and create blogs like this is slanderous to the company and really pathetic. My advice is to sit down, read EVERYTHING that comes your way in detail, and if it is something you do not agree with, cancel within the 30 day money back guarantee and go on your way.
