| Verizon is still trying to rape me, over a month later! |
Be warned!If onautobill pay through verizon that they will pull money out of your account, unauthorized, over a month after service cancelled.
In fact they "accidently" closed my account. I made the mistake of cancelling a 2+ year line line that I never used once. You couldn't even turn the ringer on, because you would get so many BS phone calls. The first time I hooked the old phone I realized that Verizon had given me a recently out of business take-out restraunt.
When I called to cancel the land line, the lady asked me if I wanted to keep Internet. I said yes. She said OK. Two days later the phone was turned off, along with my entire Verizon Account. Is what they told me, I would cost to restart the account and they would need to run a credit check. Oh yeah, They also said it would several days before my Internet was turned back on, Oh yeah and I would cost the same amount, with or without landline.
I told them to forget it. Cancelled my new request for service. One month later I get a bill for this months Internet. I called up, was told to call local office. Put if off a coulple days, and realized that they had just took it out of my bank account. And they are still sending me email notices that I owe them the money. My bank can't do anything, but change account numbers. I have to somehow convice Verizon to stop stealing money out of my account.!
