| Verizon-Supported Scams |
I have four cells w/Verizon. Two belong to my sons, 16 and 12 y.o. Each of them unwittingly, despite their very careful use of their phones, has subscribed to outside "ringtone plans", one for $20/mo. and one for $10/mo. This is because they recieved "Premium SMS" text massages from the companies and were automatically enrolled as subscribers to these services. I called VerizaRape and they said that I should have blocked "Premium SMS" messages...How the fuck was I supposed to know this beforehand. These very shady companies are allowed to call VerizaRape customers and bill monthly membership fees under the aegis of Verizon. The bill for their "services" is added to the VzRape bill...I can't avoid payment or my service is stopped. RIPOFF! - Verizon H8er ID: DBE5FB |
