| Verizon SUCKS!!!!!!!! |
Never..NEVER call Verizon and ask to port your land line number to their Cell Phone. Cell phone had no reception....ported back to Verizon land line....no phone for 14 days....DSL goes off and line totally dead for 7 days. No one at Verizon can figure it out...they send Service Techs to the house...no problems...must be an entry problem in the main office...went back and forth with this for 10 days.....VERIZON will LIE to you. Supervisors are as stupid as a door knob and make empty promises too. Finally, on Sunday at 9am my voicemail light starts flashing and a service tech calls to say he found the problem in the main office downtown (after I waited all day Saturday for them to show up at my house...and after waiting 6 hours I started calling from another line every hour being promised I was next on the tech's list and they WOULD be there soon...only to hear at 7pm that I was scheduled for Sunday. Land line is now working...DSL will be fixed on Monday morning (since their offices were closed on Saturday/Sunday). DSL comes on Monday at 1pm...get automated call that all problems have been fixed and that it was the 'lines' connecting our street service..even though all phones on our street were working but mine. Tuesday, another Tech shows up at my house to start my NEW service!!! LOL Then I get another automated call on Wednesday welcoming me to my new home and my new service (even though I've lived in this same home for 48 years!!). F*cked up doesn't even come close to describing Verizon WV. We are stuck though, there are no other phone services available here. - Verizon H8er ID: 8AD544 |

Verizon doesn't lie. The Agents aren't always informed of something that happens. I like to give notice that I too am recording the call during their announcement of call recording.
With a follow up letter for every converstation and a recording of every conversation I have it locked down tight. Now I even record conversations with field managers or agents without their consent to cover all my bases.
With ViaTalk prefixing the verizon contact number with *99 automatically records the call
so for fios "service"

If you don't subscribve to viatalk, a voip (internet phone) service, you can record calls free with a headset, a SIP client (software) capable of recording, and place your call through a free toll free SIP gateway
Small claims court grants some leeway with recorded conversations and does not look kindly on liars.

anyone who speaks on behalf of a company issuing promises of this happening or that not happening again OUGHT BE BINDING as it is for "agents of a company". further this law will require any agreements made by phone reps generate a PAPER letter to you will deals, concessions, etc
