I don't hate anyone enough to recommend Verizon to them

My most recent Verizon issue-
If someone calls our cell phones and we don't pick up they receive a recording that the phone is disconnected. The phone is not disconnected. The voicemail isn't working. I've called Verizon 4 times. No one ever gets back to me. (although I did receive a text message that my new bill was available) Today I was told my trouble ticket was closed on the 10th and that it was a known issue in my area. Oh, I see. I guess since it's a known issue, that makes it ok?
